Bog Bean
(Menyanthes Trifoliata)
A lower growing marginal plant with more of a rafting nature, pushing out across the water surface in lengths with it's triage of leaves. Over time this will create great surface coverage in the deeper parts of your margins, ultimately resulting in a fantastic habitat and shelter for your pond's inhabitants.
It has a beautiful, but short-lived, white-pinky flower stalk in the late Spring which is a delight.
